Key Features and Uses
Composition: The paste is made with mica powders to give it a vibrant, shimmery, and opaque finish that does not rub off once dry.
Application: It can be applied in various ways to create texture and shine:
Through stencils using a palette knife to create defined, raised designs.
As a thin layer directly onto a surface for a metallic, paint-like finish.
Rubbed onto die cuts or embossed backgrounds using a finger to highlight details.
Thinned with water to be used for watercoloring effects.
Properties: Once dry, it has a permanent, flexible, and waterproof finish, though it is not considered archival. It is non-toxic and acid-free.
Drying Time: It typically takes 20 to 30 minutes to dry, a process that can be sped up with a heat tool if done carefully to avoid bubbling.
