The primary difference is the pigment used for color: regular Lunar Paste uses standard vibrant pigments, while Neon Lunar Paste uses specialized fluorescent neon pigments to achieve its characteristic extreme brightness.
Both pastes share the same creamy formula and opaque, metallic finish (thanks to mica powder), but the neon version offers a level of intensity and brightness that gives projects a retro, ’80s-like feel. The neon pigments may also react under UV (black) light, which regular Lunar Paste does not.

In short, if you want very bright, vivid colors with a metallic sheen, opt for the regular version. If you need colors that are exceptionally intense and almost “glow” with brightness (especially under UV light), the Neon Lunar Paste is the better choice.
